The service
OptiTakip is browser-based software that optical shops use to manage customers, prescriptions, sales, payments and reminders.
Your account
Whoever opens the account is responsible for keeping its details accurate and its password safe. Staff accounts are opened and closed by the shop owner or a manager.
Trial and subscription
A new shop gets a 14-day free trial with no card required. When the trial or subscription ends, records are not deleted; only adding new records is switched off. The plan and subscription period are agreed with the shop by email; no online payment is taken.
Who owns the data
Data entered by a shop belongs to that shop. OptiTakip processes it only to provide the service, never uses it for anything else and never sells it.
Sending messages
WhatsApp messages are sent from the shop's own number. Getting the consent needed for marketing messages is the shop's responsibility; the software won't send a discount message to a customer without consent.
Limits of liability
We run the service to be available without interruption and back up data regularly. Shops remain responsible for keeping their own records for the periods the law requires.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page and sent to the email address on the account.
